Saturation Flow Surveys

Saturation flow measurements are essential for optimising Saturation flowthe control of signalised traffic junctions. A number of readings may be required where peak flow is tidal, or where traffic composition varies between peak and off-peak periods.

These measurements were generally carried out manually.

However these measurements can now be carried out by Video giving accurate results showing number of vehicles by class, lane, and start/end of green times.
